Smith’s Electric needed more leads to grow its business. They saw digital marketing as a great way to achieve this. However, their initial SEO strategy didn’t enable them to rank high in their local vicinity or get enough phone calls from prospective customers. We knew we had to nail our strategy to help them stay busy throughout the year.
We revamped their website copy, keyword strategy, and design. We also created new content about the company’s culture to give personality to their brand, and we optimized their Google My Business page, sharing new pictures, updates, and client reviews. We also worked on their social signals by creating Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Yelp, Foursquare, Porch, Houzz, and Nextdoor accounts. This duple strategy of optimizing their site and GMB allowed Smith’s Electric to rank on Google’s Organic Search results and Google’s Local Pack.
Our consistency resulted in a 151% MoM increase in phone calls from April 2020 to May 2020 and an 80% YoY increase in phone calls from May 2020 to May 2021.
